Great price via Booked.net - better than booking directly with the hotel for that date in March 2013
Beds were very uncomfortable, need to update beds as they were very hard to sleep on......wireless was very bad in our room and could not connect, maybe first and second floors were better.....
Was nice and very clean. Restaurant had excellent dinner.
Others staying on the second floor were very disruptive , loud. Doors swung shut too fast and slammed very loud. Did not get a good nights sleep. Beds too hard. Possibly will stay elsewhere next trip.
What's with the one long dark hair strand that always seems to be left behind. Nice place, good beds, price was right at $99, maybe not at the full season price...
Convenience of booking. Checking in early Quiet rooms. Convenient location. Staff flexability
Hotel was clean and rooms were large. It was nice that they had restaraunt facilities in the hotel for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was great.
- Friendliness of staff
- Lack parking on busy nights
The location is convenient with 10 min walking to town centre. The restaurant is nice and served good breakfast. Staff were helpful when we weren't satisfied with our room and found an alternative for us although it was pretty full.
Given the decor, furnishings and facilities, I didn't think the room was worth what we paid. I paid less in downtown Vancouver for a nicer room. If the room is close to a ventilation shaft, you can hear the noise all the time. There are only a handfull of underground parking spots, so don't count on getting one. The whirlpool is quite small for such a big house. The restaurant has a nice lounge open at night, but there was no day-use lounge apart from the lobby. I was expecting more for the price and the ratings.
No microwave -unbelivable !
underground parking pool treadmill decent rooms
water in shower wasn't hot at times but it was adequate
A chance to relax and celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
When we parked under the hotel there were not many cars in the garage, I have a hard time getting in and out of the truck because of a bad knee, so, he left plenty of space to let me out. Evidently the garage filled up fast after that and some people got mighty ticked that my husband had taken two spaces; therefore they left a couple of very nasty notes on our windshield which left quite a bad taste in our mouth when we left. You might??? Want to consider setting aside a couple of places in the garage for people with a bit of a handicap in one way or another??? I wanted very badly to get into the hot-tub and soak my knee, however it was being cleaned, therefore we could not use it, the water in the pool was two cold for our liking, so, what I really wanted to do, I couldn'T.
Very good place. I think the elevator may need some work tho.
The hotel was pet friendly (albeit in the unfriendly pet fee charged extra way). Room was large and clean, (2 double beds) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone other than big, loud, raucous, noisy Albertan's who don't seem to mind letting their brats run amok all over the hotel.
Front desk guy was curt, front desk girl beside him was indifferent and bored. (Whoever was on front desk shift Sat. July 28 at about 3p.m.)When I asked him where I could park closest to the room he just described all of the parking, including the street. Made me sign a form saying I understand there is not smoking, another form saying I incur charges if my pet tears their room apart.... some staff by back door loudly complaining about being fired. Kids screaming down hallways on the first floor, not the hotels fault but the idiot parents. No food delivery despite restaurant in hotel, had to go collect tray and plates myself.
It was located right in Jasper, the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, even dusted, (which you don't see at many hotels) which is very important to me and my family.
Friendly staff, fair sized room.
Queen and king sized beds especially on the first floor where we can have pets
